ALL WORK
An internal platform that automates exposure limit monitoring, breach escalation, and limit management for a firm's risk team.
ISSUE
Limits were hardcoded and could only be changed through engineering. Monitoring was ad hoc with no guaranteed cadence, so breaches surfaced late and were escalated by hand over email. Nothing was captured in a structured, auditable way. The result was operational risk, slow incident response, and an audit trail that took heavy manual effort to assemble.
SOLUTION
We designed a single module that lets the risk team own the full lifecycle. Limit changes route through a two person approval flow with an immutable log. Automated checks compare live exposure against active limits and raise graded alerts: warning at high utilization, breach at full utilization. Every breach becomes a discrete event with a defined resolution path, and the system retains the complete history for review. The design follows the firm's existing house patterns rather than introducing new conventions, so it reads as native from day one.
1
Every active limit in one grid, grouped by business and entity, with live exposure and utilization color coded at a glance.

2
A breach becomes a structured decision. Pick a resolution method, set a temporary or permanent limit, halt trading if needed, then confirm through one approval.

3
Every breach caught and recorded automatically, filterable and split by pending or resolved, building an audit ready trail with no manual chasing.
